Formal education is further divided into three levels: primary, secondary and tertiary education.Schools in Indonesia are run either by the government (negeri) or private sectors (swasta). Some private schools refer to themselves as "national plus schools" which means that their curriculum to exceeds requirements set by the Ministry of Education, especially with the use of English as medium of instruction or having an international-based curriculum instead of the national one.* 

The emergence of Islamic state in Indonesia is noted by the acculturation of both Islamic and ancestor tradition. At this time period, pondok Pesantren (PP) , a type of Islamic boarding school was introduced and several of them were established.  Student at Pondok Pesantren, commonly we called Santri. We divided santri to be two kinds, Santri men and Santri Women. 

Learning at Pondok Pesantren 24 hours, from waking up to go back to sleep, then from that, santri stay at the boarding school. They as be helpers, they  are successful. Cause they succeed because they work hard to divide time, strong spirit, patient and sincere.

The education of Indonesian women in Pondok Pesantren is very appropriate and effective. This is in because women are the cornerstone of a nation. So they determine the fate of the nation. This is in because their uterus that gave birth to the next generation at the nations. So they are expected to have good time management skills, character education and good behavior, resilient, concerned, survival and have high fighting spirit and high problem solver. The generation of Pondok Pesantren is the next generation of the virtuous generation of pioneers.

The population of Indonesia is not balanced, the female population is with many more than the male population. Therefore, the amount of women in the boarding school are two or five equal of men. This affects the building in the boarding school, boarding school building is bigger, better and more complete facilities. The boarding school building consists of a family Kiai’s house, santri room, Grand mosque, The Small mosque, hall, canteen, cooperative students, kitchen, and large Toillets room.

The name for our female santri used to call as Mbak and call for santri son Kang. Building for santri men and women for Pondok Pesantren man and woman separated. Pondok Pesantren has an activity schedule for 24 hours. They must woke to sleep at 3.00. To perform the Tahajud prayer. Prayer Tahajud is a prayer that is done after waking up, early morning from the end of the Isyak prayer until the dawn prayer. After Tahajud prayer in connection Hajat prayer and other Sunnah prayers. Hajat Prayer t is a prayer to ask for something more special. Sunnah Prayer is a prayer that is not mandatory, if the work gets a reward whereas if not do not get sins. After that read the Quran until waiting time for morning prayer.
